I think you misunderstand what dA Groups are.

It's an official organized system to replace what are known as "club accounts" where various users can post their artwork to the group page and still have it link to their gallery/original artwork (instead of the club manager having to insert an annoying "do not fav, this is a club submission" tag so the original artist gets credit).
