When it comes to webcomics, what's more important to you? (Obviously both is important)

55 deviants saidThe storyline; I don't care if the art isn't quite up to par (or downright sucks), as long the story is interesting, creative, flows nicely, and uses correct grammer. The story is what usaully makes it or breaks it for me.

31 deviants saidThe artwork; if the art's absolutely amazing, the storyline doesn't have to be outstanding. It's gotta have good layout, anatomy, style, and easy to visually follow. If the thumbnail doesn't catch my attention, I'll probably not give it a second thought.
Either really. On one side you have comics like XKCD which is full of geek humor but usually not much art; on other side there are Dadaist comics that while looks nice, purposefully doesn't have a story or makes any sense.
While I prefer art more, it's not really that important.
And then you have those like Mezzacotta (which incidentally has a strip archive many times older than the universe)...
well for me it should have decent enough art work to catch my attention. then the story should be slightly above par, or at least make sense. there were a couple where the art was ok but the storyline didn't make any sense.
Art isn't the most important, because everyone has different taste for art. But if there is a story that you can connect to or hit an interest most people stay hooked to see what happens
(My hypothesis is most will be Female aged 16-18... will I be right gais?)
