EDIT 05/22: OMG WUT? My first DD!!?!? Thank you to all who have come by with such kind words and I greatly appreciate all the additional support you've shown me with adding me to your watch and favorites. I will get around to responding to them best I can!

Also if you'd like to get the chance to see this costume in action (besides the video links below) he will be at A-kon 23 next weekend in Dallas, TX. June 1-3

Here he is! Fred the Groudon invades the convention!

I'm so glad to finally be done with this project- I've been working on him for 2 years and about 300+ hours. He is primarily made from polyurethane (upholstery) foam, hotglue, and a velour knit fabric (for extra hugability!) The costume features glowing LED eyes, a moving jaw, and extreme amounts of body padding to accurately capture the life of the character in costumed form.

The costume was created by myself and worn by *ScratchingSouls.

The photo was taken by myself at NDK15- but we'll have plenty of good photos taken soon for my portfolio with more angles and the like. Figured I'd not wait to upload like I have for so long with the Shadow Lugia costume |D (something I STILL haven't done) So perhaps I'll put up a photo of him today too.

I'd like to give a huge shout-out to my top contributors to this project, since without you I probably wouldn't have been able to finish this crazy thing in time!

•*Monoyasha for casting the LED eyes several times over, hanging out with me at A-kon taping patterns, creating a beautiful set of teeth, and keeping me company on Livestream for inspiration (and endless delays to bedtime)!

•~Saiyai for letting me horde your amazing sewing machine, helping me with patterns and covering all of Groudon's backplates, and being such an amazing handler/helper every step of the way at conventions!

•*ScratchingSouls of course, for contributing to the building costs, being patient and supportive throughout, and last but not least- bringing to life the BEST GROUDON EVER. You were meant to cosplay him, I don't understand how you're such a natural.

•A few extra hands were also lent at A-kon by *DragonFoxStar*roxas-kitax*InsaneSpyro and ~Koosh-Ball (let me know if you contributed and I didn't mention you)
